Grant Scicluna

Grant is the writer and director of the short films Fast Lane, which was funded by the Australian Film Commission, Almost Ready and the award-winning animated short Remembering. He produced the experimental short Fugue, which screened at the Berlin International Film Festival, winning the NY Film Academy Prize, as well as prizes at the Sydney Film Festival, the ATOM awards and Kaleidoscope. His feature script Scratch the Surface was funded through Film Victoria’s New Feature Writers Scheme, and is developed to third draft with the Australian Film Commission. A graduate of RMIT Screenwriting, Grant won the prestigious Institute Award, and the SpArta Award for Best Creative Arts Student. He works as a freelance script editor and is the Chair of the Australian Writers’ Guild Associates Committee (VIC).
