Katherine Blakeney

Katherine Blakeney has recently received her BFA in Stop Motion Animation from the School of Visual Arts in New York. She is going on to pursue a Master’s degree in Film History and Theory at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
Among her work experiences, she has been employed for a number of years as a digital artist, photographer, and web designer by an archaeological expedition in Egypt. She has recently finished the photography and digital illustration for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s publication of an ancient Egyptian tomb. Currently, she is developing a stop motion animated series on Scottish history for children. It will be pitched to local Scottish TV networks next year.
