Diogo Hayashi

Diogo Hayashi is responsable for drawings and concepts of diferent independent short film productions and comics in São Paulo, Brazil. He’s ilustrated posters and story-boards for film and animation. On fiction, Hayashi worked as art director in short films as Nicolau and the Trees, The Guardian of the Night and Decadent. Produced and directed the political documentary, Cream of the Corn, screened at the 19th São Paulo Int’ Short Film Festival, and the experimental vídeo, The Terráqueas Against the Invasor Came from the Sky. Graduated in Film and Arts, Hayashi worked as producer of the federal program for development of brazilian animation series for television, the ANIMATV, helping to realese 17 animation pilots national wide. Izamara is his first animation as director.
