Elodie Rivalan

Elodie Rivalan has done her cinema studies at the “Université Paris 8” in St Denis and at “Concordia” in Montreal. During this training she practiced and kept learning during various internships.

Tempted to edit since her first steps in cinema she became Annick Hurst’s assistant and worked on documentaries such as “Pas Assez de Volume” by Vincent Glenn (2003).

Also, she directs her first documentary, "Goumen Bis" in 2005.

Comforted by this first experience she decided to further inquire on the different aspects of directing.

Once more she assisted an editor on "La Dépanneuse" by Dominique Aru (2006) and then directs "Inspiração", a short animated fiction in 2008.

Today she prepares with Etienne Milliès-Lacroix a documentary with french and turkish musicians about a music language, Soundpainting.
