Sarah Gurevick

I am a French screenwriter and director. Five of my completed short films have been selected by festivals around the world, from Sundance to Cannes, and received a total of 11 international awards; a feature length fiction screenplay called "Jade" won 2 awards and earned her the right to follow the Equinoxe writing workshop (sponsored by the Sundance Institute, Canal Plus, Sony Entertainment, Centre National du Cinema, British Screen and the European Script Fund) which enabled her to work with Doug Wright(winner of the 2004 Pulitzer Prize), Franck Pierson (winner of an oscar and 12 awards), Suzan Landau (nominated for Primetime Emmy), and Jim Hart(winner of an award and 2 nominations).
I have been part of The Hospital Club Mentoring Award Scheme 2007, Club in London founded by Microsoft co-founder Paul G. Allen and David A. Stewart of the band Eurythmics.
There, I directed a short film with Juliet Crawford, Alex Wyndham and worked with Ravi Kumar on his film "Bhopal, prayer for a rain" shot last summer with Martin Sheen.
I studied Violin alto from 5 to 15 years old. After 2 years at the Paris 8 University I studied video and sound technics at the BTS school "Novocom" and specialized my knowledge at the prestigious photography school Louis Lumière.Recently, I followed a screenwriting courses at the CEEA and the John Truby masterclass.
Currently, I am preparing a feature documentary and several other projects at various stages of development.
