Seana Kozar

A professional oral storyteller for over a decade, Seana Kozar worked as a video editor and has been a full-time filmmaker since 2002. Her first work, Almost Normal: Stories From the Well Within about women
with invisible disabilities, combined video, experimental animation and oral storytelling and was broadcast in Canada in 2004. She screened her first stop motion animation in 2005. Her formal training is in
folklore, social science research and education. Her artistic practice focuses on the combination of digital and handcrafted animation techniques to tell true and truly fantastic stories. Seana is a self-taught, auteur animator who writes, directs and animates her own original work.
