Lisa Shaunessy

Lisa Shaunessy is a Creative Executive at Seed Productions Australia, formed by partners Hugh Jackman, Deborra-Lee Furness and John Palermo in 2006, where she has been involved with the production of feature films, Deception and Wolverine; TV series’, An Aussie Goes Barmy, An Aussie Goes Bolly and An Aussie Goes Calypso for cable channel, Foxtel and the development of several Australian feature films.

She is also Head of Development and Production at Chaotic Pictures, a production company she established with director, Seth Larney, where she is overseeing a development slate of feature films and television series.

Previously Lisa was a Marketing Officer for Industry Development at the former Australian Film Commission (now Screen Australia), and prior to that she held roles in production on big budget US features filmed in Australia. These included Star Wars: Attack of the Clones; Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith; The Great Raid; Scooby Doo; Peter Pan; Stealth and Superman Returns, amongst others. She worked on TV series, The Lost World and pilot, Lost in Oz. She also production managed two low-budget features, Sayonara Sweetheart and The Elixir.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New South Wales, a Graduate Certificate in Screenwriting from University of Technology, Sydney and is currently taking a Masters in Business Administration at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School.
