Lubomir Mihailo Kocka

Lubomir Mihailo Kocka was born in Slovakia, but moved to the USA at an early age. His most recent narrative short, “The Lunch Box” won the top live-action student prize in the Palm Sprigs ShortFest 2009, and has screened worldwide to critical and popular acclaim. His first short narrative, “The Honest Shepherd” played the festival circuit and earned him the “Best Young Filmmaker” award at the 2008 Tupelo Film Festival. As an actor, Lubomir took top honors for his outstanding performance of Michael in William Butler Yeats’ Kathleen Ni Houlihan, and received the “Best Actor” award. Lubomir has also been recognized for his artistic talent as a photographer. His affiliation with a professional gallery has provided him with a positive exhibition experience and adds to his diverse creative portfolio.
