Personal Profile

Evan Beamer

In the fall of 2004, Adam and Evan Beamer – brothers since Evan's birth – simultaneously, though independently of each other, became intensely interested in motion pictures. They joined forces, bought a Sony HandiCam, and went to work under the miniature-drink-umbrella sized canopy known as El Matador Films. For the past two years they have worked for Mt. Mansfield Media, an ad agency in Colchester, Vermont, making local commercials for clients such as the State of Vermont, Pool World, and minor league baseball team The Vermont Lake Monsters. The Brothers Beamer's newest short film, Knock Knock Who's There, is currently making the festival rounds and winning awards all over the country.
