Personal Profile

Marshall Kistner

Marshall has been making films since he was mentally capable of comprehending what a video camera is (probably around 2010 or 2011). In his college experiences as a Senior Radio-Television-Film student at The University of Texas at Austin, he has wrote/directed four short films and worked on numerous student projects as a grip, actor, and slate duty aficionado. His most recent directorial effort, The Adjacent Possible (2014), received its Festival Premiere at The Black Warrior Film Festival in Alabama, which received rave reviews from his parents and a second cousin related through marriage. His role as Head Videographer at the Texas Travesty, the largest collegiate humor/satire news publication in America, has allowed for Marshall to have as much creative freedom as possible, just as long as it’s funny.
