Terrence Wandtke

Growing up in Milwaukee and earning his Ph.D. at Saint Louis University, Terrence Wandtke has lived most of his life in the Midwest. With movies and books his lifelong passions, he spent his time as a graduate student exploring the connections between film and contemporary literature. Terrence Wandtke began his time at Judson University in 2002 where he teaches classes in film, literature, and popular culture. He serves as the chair of the department of Film and Digital Media and the director of the Imago Film Festival. In recent years, he has been researching and writing about heroic narratives in film, literature, and other popular mediums (especially comic books).
