Dean Anderson

Dean Leon Anderson is a filmmaker from London. He worked in television for 8 years, before turning his attention to making films. He was an assistant producer on director Mustapha Kseibaiti’s film “Skateboards & Spandex”, before going on to write, produce, direct, act and edit a 6-minute short comedy film called ‘The List’ in 2012. The short was met with critical acclaim, and Dean was taken on by executive producer Yann Demange to be a trainee director on Channel 4’s popular TV Drama ‘Top Boy’. Dean trained with Director Jonathan Van Tulleken and producer Laura Hastings-Smith on series 2.

Dean grew up in South East London, England. He has a bachelor’s degree in Media, Culture and Communications from The University of Greenwich. He started his career at MTV Networks Europe, where he would work with some of television and music’s biggest stars, before becoming a freelance filmmaker.
