Vijay Jodha

Vijay S. Jodha is an independent writer, photographer and filmmaker based in India. His words and images have been published worldwide and films broadcast in over 200 countries. He studied film making at New York University and has worked with directors Ang Lee and Mira Nair.

Four of Vijay's books and films are in the collection of the U.S. Library of Congress. Among his honors is U.K. Environment Film Fellowship Award, two listings in Limca Book of Indian Records and Media Citizen Award given by Indian Confederation of NGOs. Alternative responses to his work include having a group show confiscated by his government and a false police case that took six years to be dismissed by the courts.
