Brian McNulty

Brian McNulty is a filmmaker from Derry, N. Ireland. Taking an interest in filmmaking from an early age, Brian pursued this interest at North West Regional College where he studied media for two years. Whilst there, he developed a strong passion and understanding of filmmaking and went on to university to study Contemporary Film and Video at Manchester Metropolitan University.

He has just finished his third and final year of the course and is currently branching out into the professional industry. Throughout his filmmaking career he has experimented in genres such as comedy, horror, drama, action and sci-fi. He cites directors David Lynch, Wes Anderson, David Firth and Spike Jonze as his primary influences.

Although Brian takes an interest in every aspect of film production, he specialises in directing, writing and producing. He has gained international recognition and had his films shortlisted and screened at film festivals throughout the UK and America.
