Grzegorz Brzozowski

Director and script writer – born in 1983, studied sociology, psychology and reportage at University of Warsaw and Utrecht Universiteit. Now working on a Ph.D. at the Institute of Sociology at University of Warsaw, conducting a research on modern festival communities through the lens of anthropology of performance and sociology of religion. Apart from this works as an editor and chief of the film review section in “The Liberal Culture” weekly magazine.

Graduated from documentary course at Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing, with teachers: Marcel Łozinski, Jacek Bławut, Vita Żelakeviciute. Works as a documentary director and script author. As a filmmaker, he particularly enjoys provoking accidental, intense meetings between the representatives of different cultures.
