Personal Profile

Fabien Loïacono

Fabien Loïacono became interested in video-making at the age of 15.
Self-taught, in 2006 his skills secured him a place as an editor on the video team of an association responsible for covering local events.
At 21, this experience earned him the post of editing manager for a small production company specialising in cultural, sporting and publicity reports, based in Grenoble.
Very soon he was cutting his teeth in camerawork, shooting several experimental videos.
In 2009, together with two friends, he launched the “Uncut Creative” Association with the aim of producing a first short film Alone, a thriller he wrote and directed.
This initial experience encouraged him to write a new, more polished script in which he chose to evoke the human condition in all its diversity and complexity.
Ayúdame was released in November 2012.
