Personal Profile

Kenneth Lloyd

As a teacher I studied film making and made numerous short films with my students. A film for the Freedom from Hunger campaign won a Highly Commended.
On retirement I attended seminars, studied the best books by screenwriting gurus and began serious writing. My first script "Beloved Rupert" is a bio pic about the acclaimed WW1 English soldier poet, Rupert Brooke. An Australian screenwriting professional assessed it and wrote that it had commercial possibilities. The noted American guru, Professor Richard Walter wrote "There is so much to like that I don't know where to start..."

My second script is an Australian story, "The Ten Pond Pom" which deals with the struggle of an English assisted immigrant to gain acceptance in Australia.
