Personal Profile

Christopher Fischer

Christopher Fischer was born in Rancagua, Chile on August 6, 1980. He is the eldest of four brothers. His father, Enrique Fischer Franke, comes from a Chilean-German family and is a trucker. His mother, Susana Misle, comes from a Chilean-Palestinian family and is a painter and caterer.

Young Christopher and his family moved to Norway when he was seven years old. He grew up in the capital Oslo where he attended and finished high school. After high school, he worked as a health and social worker for ten years before he decided to follow his dream and become a filmmaker.

Currently styding the art of film and cinema at Norges Kreative Fagskole (Norway's Creative School of Arts), he is enjoying himself and living his dream, something that is important to him. Even during the ten years as health and social worker, Christopher never took a job he didn't like or that didn't made him happy.

"Life is too short to waste it on misery or following another fool's orders. Do whatever makes you happy. And enjoy it."
