Ian Bell

Born in Kenton, London, transplanted to Hemel Hempstead in 1958. Came to video production via 20 years working in electronic engineering, interspersed with extended periods travelling through Europe and Asia, a BA in Art, Design, Politics and Communication, and MA in Media and Culture. Co-author of Studying Film. Now being raised by two sons and working as a media production lecturer. Occasionally snowboards and plays hurdy gurdy, but not at the same time.
