Personal Profile

Gerry Bruno

Gerry Bruno is the founder and director of Let’sThink Productions. He is an award winning filmmaker with almost 20 years of experience working in film, commercials, documentaries and theatre. Gerry was born in Castel San Giorgio, Italy, to hard working parents who taught him to never give up on your dreams and the value of being responsible for the decisions you make. At a very young age, Gerry moved with his family to New Jersey where he earned a degree from William Paterson University. He began his film career working on film sets and music videos for little or no pay but gaining valuable experience from the New York film scene. It wasn’t long after that Gerry co-founded a commercial production company where he sharpened his skills as a director and created short 30 second stories disguised as television commercials. In 2008, Gerry moved from New York to Little Rock, Arkansas, and has since concentrated on narrative film, winning two Best Film Awards (“Fortunate” – 48 Hour Film Project, Little Rock, and “The Bloodstone Diaries: Sleeper” – Offshoot Film Festival). His most recent work, a short narrative called “Seven Souls,” has received an Indie Fest Award and has been nominated for a Remi Award.
