Personal Profile

Mark Turnock

Mark Turnock is a recent graduate of UCA in Farnham, looking to make his way in the short film world. Between ambitious comedies he experiments in documentary and smaller dramas and occasionally writes. He enjoys films with a DIY aesthetic, and admires directors who can create a personal vision on a tiny budget. His biggest idols are Sam Raimi and Morrissey, while his work usually strives for a combination of bawdy English humour and East-European mysticism. He is currently working on a short collection of fairytales.
