Legend of the Seven Bloody Torturers

A young clerk is sent deep into the dungeon of the Seven Bloody Torturers, where he discovers that they are about to face the most deadly torture of all: a threat to their name-brand recognition.

Film notes

Based on a short comic that originally appeared in the collection Sayonara Slaves of Skin, Legend of the Seven Bloody Torturers is a dark satire with elements of comedy and terror.

If Monty Python and Franz Kafka got drunk and collaborated on an extremely strange German silent film, there’s a chance it might bear a passing resemblance to Torturers.

A strange little comedy for the smiling sadist in all of us.
