Short Film Profile

A Vanitas still-life comes to motion turning the world of objects upside down. A fork and a knife fall in love and, spurred by an accidental blunder, embark on a cooperative venture to remodel their world. All goes well, until the knife accidentally remodels its partner. The ensuing strife turns into an ll-out warfare bringing their universe to its ultimate demise.

Vanitas means vanity and designates a 17th century genre of Northern European painting that aimed to depict the grace of material abundance but also the futility of it all.
