Short Film Profile

FAST puts into parallel the apparent motion with the artistic form of cinema. The rhythm of the movement leaves several traces that become abstract images. These eventually rejoin into a panoramic experimental creation.

Film notes

FAST was done in two stages. In first stage, I started with pixilation shots using 16mm film stock footage. The second stage is digital morphing, which is a camera-less process of creating the visuals using non-linear editing.

Through unique treatment and approach to subject matter I invite the viewer to absorb a world that is both intimate and delirious in my “creative’ films and videos.

My recent works represent a panoramic view of contemporary creations. The visuals try not to take over the sound and orient the direction of the work. In my experimental filmmaking I tackle the subject of physical motion and movement. In FAST the movement becomes the subject as I explore motion by filming one of my journeys. As well I try to demonstrate how experimental films and videos can include some kind of storytelling.
