The Diamond Blow - The Fate of Lonely Ghosts

In April 2011 Abraham Kenny moved in to live in Linnahall. Within his dressing room the preparations began, to take the stage and once again bring to life this abandoned futurist temple.

Film notes

The Fate Of Lonely Ghosts is an autobiography in mythological form, based on Australian artist Abraham Kenny´s (The Diamond Blow) six year Northern European and Baltic saga.

The story of two lonely ghosts at the worlds end is delivered from the stage of Tallinn's Linnahall, a colossal and decaying concert hall built for the 1980 Moscow Olympics.

Made on a minus budget over a duration of almost four years. Some scenes were filmed alone at night in the concert hall, ´´I would make the long way through the dark to get to the lighting booth to adjust the giant spotlight that was still fully operational, then I would press play on the camera and perform the song to the unending blackness.
