Short Film Profile

Infidelity In Equal Parts

A three-sided, 4-screen improvised exploration of the dynamics of marital infidelity. Key interactions between the husband, the wife and the lover are depicted along with visual interpretations of their interior states.

Film notes

The film was an improvised experiment in developing a split-screen narrative. We mutually devised the scenario then started shooting. There are two "real" scenes, both improvised by the actors, along with other scenes that reflect the internal states of the characters. We shot it in about 4 hours (with only available light) and spent a week editing and adding basic Final Cut Pro effects.
