La Trilogía del Abrazo

A hug, not a kiss. A hug, almost a kiss. A hug as a kiss.

Film notes

Director's Statement
Every day we give others hugs in different ways: via email, by phone, in a text message… but we don’t realize we do it without thinking. “Three Parts to a Hug” seeks to give back meaning to those “casual hugs”. And it is true, once you start thinking about their significance, we cannot see a hug being given, or give one, or send one in the same way as we used to. Film viewers have started to give “hugs” their lost meaning after experiencing the three situations we have put in film. And I feel everyone can identify themselves with one of these situations. I have to confess: after making this film, to me a hug has more value than what it used to.
