Nice to Meet You

For over a year Fenar Ahmad followed the lives of 600 Iraqis, all which have been refused asylum in Denmark. Some of them have lived in Danish refugee camps for seven years - for them; the situation is not just a question about going home. They have nothing to return to - and nothing to look forward to.

Film notes

The director who’s been living in Denmark for the last 20 years knows the life as Iraqi refugee from his past. His film offers a unique and presents insight to these people's lives and their reflections on their fate as a rejected refugee in Denmark.
