Born of Fire

Consumed by the sudden loss of his woman during child birth, a man succumbs to self-destructive torment, only discovering a newfound healing when his afflictions become obsessively channeled into a bloodied stone.

Film notes

Set in a pre-historic, pre-cultural era, this piece is meant as an exploration into the nature of the human condition to create and its need to self-express. Its a questioning of the spiritual and psychological role that art and creative discovery play in the evolution and longevity of the human specie.
