Vivid Dreams, Looking for Arthur C. Clarke

An Italian film director travels to Sri Lanka, where Clarke lived, in an attempt to speak to him. After a long wait, spent wandering around the country and discovering aspects of Clarke’s life and work, the director is finally allowed to meet him, and gather the final public statement of an old and wise man on his death bed. The words he speaks about the meaning of life, immortality and the future of humanity will be his last.
