Short Film Profile

Where's Alan?

Three workmates invent a series of unlikely stories to explain the whereabouts of a missing colleague, but the truth is more bizarre than they imagine.

Film notes

Where's Alan? is a fast-moving comic short with a macabre twist in the tale, inspired by real life events.

The film contrasts the everyday locations of car park and pub with stylised fantasy sequences ranging from Brit-geezer-gangster parody to softcore romantic porn to 50s sci-fi B-movie. Its intended audience is anybody who enjoys imaginative, pop culture-literate comedy such as Spaced, The IT Crowd, The Mighty Boosh etc.
