Film notes

Giorgio Borgazzi was the first Italian director to attend Sundance Film Festival with a short film ("Elvis is Dead at 58") in 1998. Giorgio would then found his own production company and produce commercials and documentaries while teaching filmmaking to young students.

In 2007, as part of their “Project:Filmmaker” workshop, Giorgio & Simona Fiori directed high school students to write and produce "Otto Parole", originally conceived to be a feature film.

Several professionals joined the project, working side by side with students. Renouned Italian actors like Fabio Troiano, Alessia Barela, Esther Elisha and Dodo Oltrecolli joined the cast, while famous Bass Artist Saturnino and the frontman of theFilmakers Rock Band, Luca Solbiati, composed the entirely original soundtrack for the film.

Otto Parole was nominated for best EDITING at the 2008 GrandOFF European Awards in Warsaw and won the Cinema Fedic Award for best Italian Project in the same year. Giorgio Borgazzi then went on to finish the script for his first feature film and prepare his new return on set in 2010.
