Short Film Profile

Little World

Sebastian's world revolves around old vynils, his home and a pretty counter girl working in a vintage record store. As days go by, their worlds will never be the same again.

Film notes

Little World is the debut short film for Marco F. Zimprich, a 1995 graduate of the American Film Institute (AFI) who would later collect outstanding DP credits in many years of professional work around the world, including the feature films “PS-T” and “Work for Money”, the award-winning documetary series “Universum”, and “The Souvenirs of Mister X”, winner of the 2007 Chicago Silver Plaque award. In 2008 Marco was nominated for Best Cinematography at the GrandOff European Awards for his work on the short film “Muriendo”.

Little World was a project that Marco had in mind for a long time and features an original soundtrack composed by the singer and music producer of theFilmakers Rock Band, here featuring two original new songs ("A Wonderful Day" and "How Can You Stand Next To Me"). "A Wonderful Day" music video, taken from Little World itself, entered the Metropolis Art Prize Competition in Babelgum Online Film Festival at the end of 2009.
