In the small town of Quiroga live Fátima, Jaime and his dog.
They all enjoy a quiet and peaceful life, sharing “mates”, conversations and a deep love for one another.
The drama unfolds when a noise emerges the house, upsetting the old man. Inside the house, he finds Fatima on the floor, dead.
Living without her is too painful. His loneliness is so overwhelming that he decides to leave his home for good. Washing his hands like he washes off memories, he gets ready to leave, abandoning his dog forever.
The desperate barking as he leaves resembles deep sadness. He thinks and understands that him and his dog are family, ultimately doubting his destiny.
