Short Film Profile

The Broken Glass (An Idiotic Idea)

The protagonist of this film is deferent from others. But he is a ‘MAD’ in the eyes of the society. He always finds broken glasses and tries to give a shape, but cannot. A lady is in the main frame at the other end. Though she looks very ordinary but leaves a touch of elegance. She comes like an ‘X’ of algebra - sometime as a ‘struggling woman’, sometime as a ultramodern girl or as lover gal or … …
In a unique situation she nurses that person. Who feels her as Goddess, giving him an eye of creation! The person again starts building with broken glasses. Ultimately his creation becomes the image of India.

A question stands in between – who is MAD?!?

Film notes

In the occasion of the 60th anniversaries of independent of India, it was a little tribute to them who dreamed for the unity of his/her country as well as the world. Some significant incident of our history also projected in a humors way. Like - 150 years of Sepoy Mutiny and 250 years of the battle of Palashi. And the after situation of Independents of India.
