Nonimi Gamana

A poverty stricken mother and child live in a slum area. The mother leaves the sleeping child on the mat and goes to work as a domestic helper in an upper middle class house. Even though she has given instructions to her neighbor to feed the child, the neighbor leaves for some other engagement without any concern towards child. Mother tries to feed luxuriously brought up child but fails. That child runs away from food rejecting it. The poor child walks here and there and runs with stolen food due to hunger. The poor child runs in the same lane where his mother went for work. The luxuriously brought up child runs out of the house rejecting food and enters to the same lane. Both of children run the race on the same unending track.
