Jouni Hokkanen is a documentarist, critic, journalist, Helsinki International Film Festival programmer, and "freelance everything" from Helsinki. He shoot his first video doc "Pyongyang Robogirl" in 2000 in North Korea. The film was invited to Berlinale and after that it traveled more than 200 international film festivals, including MOMA - Museum of Modern Art New York. After countless fearless adventures and guerilla filmmaking around the Korean Peninsula, Hokkanen created praised and prized "Pyongyang Trilogy", screened in all five continents of the World.
