Helen Zwaan

Helen Zwaan is co-director of the Rutger Hauer Filmfactory, a ten-day masterclass for up and coming film makers from all over the world, led by Rutger Hauer and a team of International experts. Twelve short films are produced in ten days by thirty filmmakers.
Furthermore Helen is producer of short films, commercials & corporate films. In 2008 she produced the short film Zand (Sand) written and directed by Joost van Ginkel starring Jack Wouterse and 9-year-old debutante Veerle Witkop. The film was officialy selected for the 65th Venice Film Festival and was selected as the Dutch entry for the Oscars and won the award for Best Dutch Short at the Go Short International Short Film Festival Nijmegen.
