Graduated from the Omsk State University, History department.
In 2002 finished college at the Sverdlovsk Film Studio in Ekaterinburg, Russia, Department of Film directors.
In 2005 — finished the Highest Courses of Film Writers and Directors in Moscow, Department of Film directors.
In 2005 — participated in the Open World Program sponsored by the Open World Leadership Center at the Library of Congress (USA) — Filmmakers section.
In 2006 — participated in Berlinale Talent Campus / competition section, Berlin International Film Festival (Germany).
In 2007 — participated in the “Why Democracy?” International Film Project (Denmark—France—Germany—South Africa).
In 2008-2009 — participation in the “Crossing Boundaries” international film project by the Foundation “Remembrance, Responsibility and Future” (Germany) and the Goethe-Institute.
In 2009 — participation in “Our World 2.0.” International Film Project (Japan).
In 2010-2011 — participation in the “Visual Forms of Self-Presentation” film project (Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology, Germany).
Member of Russian Filmmaker Union.
