Karim Ouaret

Born and raised in the south of France in 1979, Karim Ouaret, who was originally studying science, put all his efforts into his childhood passion : film.
After acquiring his film school diploma, Karim decided to spread his wings in Paris by dedicating himself to the field of Music Videos.
Always looking to achieve out of the ordinary visuals and great graphic quality, Karim quickly became the 'must see' Director of his generation.
Within five years, he directed more than 90 music videos across the globe.
In 2006 and 2007, Karim consecutively won two NRJ Music Awards the category 'Best video of the year'.

Karim was then contacted by Fox Studios to direct two music videos, as part of the promotion of the hit show Prison Break, for artist Faf Larage : Pas le Temps and C'est pas ma Faute.
Incidently, The Pas le Temps video is to this day the most broadcasted video in French TV M6’s history.
In 2007, French TV TF1 calls on Karim’s talents to direct the official music video for the Rugby World Cup. The video for Ora Mate’s "Kamate" is shot in HAWAII on the sets of Lost and Jurassic Park.
Karim also volunteers for charity by shooting videos for The Red Cross, AIDS research and recently a commercial for Action Against Hunger.
Today, his talents are also contracted by TV channels to sublimate their show hosts and, very naturally, Karim has started his transition towards commercials.
In 2012, with all his success, Karim directed his first short fiction film, awaited by all, Lapsus, which he finished post-producing in April 2013.
Lapsus have a huge success in Festivals and became a multi-award winning film.
