Writer/Director Steven Stiller was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. At the age of 19 he caught the acting bug and began to do local stage productions after a few years Steven wanted to expand his reach and began to produce and direct his own stage shows. After a number of successful production runs he landed a small actor role on a locally shot m.o.w. and he was hooked on the medium of film. Finding little work to be had in his hometown Steven packed up and moved to Vancouver, British Columbia , Canada and emerced himself in the local film community. After doing several local small films and working as a crew member on big Hollywood blockbusters ( Tron Legacy, Percy Jackson and the lightening thief, among others) Steven took the knowledge he gained wrote out a script and presented it to some of the filmmaking contacts he had gathered while working on other productions and the rest as they say is history. His first short film "Guilt " was a modest success playing at a number of festivals across North America. Steven would go on to direct three more shorts before spending the next year and a half writing a feature film ( now in development with an established producer). After directing three previous shorts "Guilt", "Wrong Place Wrong Time" and most recently " The Move" all three modern dark dramas, dealing with love and loss, death and drugs, guilt and regret; Steven looks forward to a change of pace by bringing a Canadian World War Two story in the short film "The Hole" to the big screen.
