R. Christian Anderson

Born in Los Angeles and raised in Hollywood, Christian's mother was a Puerto Rican immigrant, Estrellita Santos, who went to radio school to lose her accent. She became a radio announcer for KMPC in Hollywood. His step-father was classical music manager and concert presenter Raymond DeArmond Bowman, who later became a classical music critic for the South Bay Daily Breeze newspaper for many years.

He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and was trained in the Aerospace Audio-Visual Service producing and directing training films. After discharge he was self-employed for the next two decades in San Francisco as a successful freelance designer and photographer. He illustrated more than 40 magazine covers and his design work was seen on sports apparel, branding, product packaging and in publications.

Returning to Southern California a decade ago, he obtained his degree in Multimedia where he studied digital film production. Over the next few years he gained valuable experience with two well-known media agencies and soon established his own company in Palm Springs. He started working on independent films in southern California in 2007 and directed his first feature "Defcon 2012" which won "Best Science Fiction" film at the New York International Independent Film Festival for 2010.

He relocated to Las Vegas in 2009 and works as a director, screen writer and producer and helms his own production company called "World of Tomorrow Studios". He is a member of the Film and Television Artists of Nevada".

His heroes in film direction are Stanley Kubrick, Brian DePalma, Robert Altman and Alfred Hitchcock.
