Haukur Már Helgason
Helgason was born in Iceland in 1978. He studied philosophy in Berlin and Reykjavík, and screenwriting at FAMU, Prague. He is a co-founder of the poet's collective Nýhil, and has published one novel, along with books of poetry and non-fiction. He is locally renowned for his social commentary. Helgason is a part-time lecturer at the Iceland Arts Academy since 2005.
