Catherine Stratton

A City Symphony Underground is the first film that Catherine entirely conceived, directed, shot and edited. Her filmmaking experience is both varied and deep and includes, most notably, films produced for the American documentary PBS series, Frontline and Nova. Currently, Catherine directs, shoots and edits short films for organizations and individuals that improve or enhance the lives of others. This includes nonprofit organizations, foundations and visual artists. Recent clients include, a company that provides an online sales portal for artists and artisans, World Wide Orphans, a nonprofit organization that helps orphans all over the world, Children’s Specialized Hospital, a hospital for children with developmental disabilities and the American humor artist, Rick Parker.

Catherine is currently in production on her second “City Symphony” featuring another New York City icon: Times Square.
