    Director: Kwok Fung Lam (UK)
  • Best Film for Children
    Keys to a Time
    Director: Sergey Seregin (Russia)
  • Best Latvian Film
    The Witche's Button
    Director: Nils Skapans (Latvia)
  • Diploma for its sharp observations of life
    The Old Crocodile
    Director: Koji Yamamura (Japan)
  • Diploma for a hypnotic film
    While Darwin Sleeps
    Director: Paul Bush (UK)
  • Diploma for the visual style of the film is both rough and sensitive
    After the Cat
    Director: Marina Rosset (Switzerland)
  • Diploma for emotionality
    Emelia
    Director: Derek Flood (USA)
  • Diploma for originality and comicality
