El Secreto Mejor Guardado

Ravi is an orphaned child who lives with this grandmother in a village in the south of India. Every day he walks a long way to a school in another village, eventhough he could go to the one in his own school. But he is not wanted in his village, and Ravi does not understand why. Only his firend krishnaven is happy to by his side. Ravi waits excitedly for the celebration of a school dance. To participate in the dance, he needs a uniform, and has to work to be able to buy it. Ravi gets his uniform, but that very day, Krishnaveni tells that she and her family have to leave the village, also without knowing why.

Film notes

This is one of 5 short films in a series entitled En el Mundo a Cada Rato (Every So Often in the World). These films were made in collaboration with UNICEF in order to increase solidarity for the children in the third world. All of the profits will forever go to Unicef programs for children.
