My Heritage

Dai Fok is a white man who was adopted and raised by his immigrant Asian father. Dai Fok grows up resenting his Tiger Dad, so he decides to cease all ties with his father, abandoning the man who loves him the most.

Film notes

We wrote and directed My Heritage as a love letter to our immigrant parents. It is a film that ultimately represents the difficulty of raising second generation children as first generation immigrants. The reception for the film has been overwhelming, as it was screened all over Toronto. Now, we can't wait to show it off to the rest of the world. - Phil & Alex
