A Libyan woman working at the Center for Electronic Engineering reflects on opportunities, successes as well as hurdles and how she and her team managed to overcome them. One of the members explores the reasons why they persevered and continued to succeed irrespective of hurdles by cultural rigidity.
In light of attempts to raise awareness on citizenship in Libya and to contribute to youth participation in building the new Libya as well as our recognition of the central role played by women in the success of any society, The first scene presents a Libyan woman working at the Center for Electronic Engineering. The second scene presents the experience of this woman with the rest of the members of the team as they embark on developing the idea into a project. She reflects on opportunities, successes as well as hurdles and how she and her team managed to overcome them. The third scene features another member of the team and she explains her own personal reasons for asserting herself in the public space. The forth scene features the experience of one of a person who lost one of his limbs and his transformation after a successful replacement of his body part by an artificial one. The fifth scene features one of the members of the team reflecting on her experience at an international conference and how their success was applauded in an international setting, a welcome representation of Libya. The sixth scene features one of the members exploring the reasons why they persevered and continued to succeed irrespective of hurdles by cultural rigidity. The seventh and last scene feature the end of a working day of two members of the team as well as the names of contributors to the documentary
