In an experiment, random people listen to an apparently inoffensive song from the Middle Ages. But behind the lyrics are hiding some gender issues.

Film notes

“For the cinnamon flower” invites us to explore the sexist and violent nature of songs spanning from the Middle Ages to the 21st century. Throughout this journey we will become aware of how often we sing songs that we have heard but rarely listened to.

The film makes us to reflect in the letter of the songs of nowadays and their issues about gender equality, experts in this issue will explain their point of view.
