Wasted Lives Chapter II
United States | 2013 | 31:23 | Fiction, Live Action
Elizabeth Galloway has another liquid lunch with Marcy, complaining about her hated husband and her loveless marriage. On the way home, between the anger and alcohol, Elizabeth is distracted and doesn't see the little girl walking up the street. After the accident, where nobody was around to witness it, Elizabeth flees the scene. Once home, she briefly thinks she may have gotten away with the crime, until she is confronted by her own conscience and evenutally the little girl. Pushed to the edge already, Elizabeth's final straw comes when her husband returns home, sees the car and questions her about what happened. Elizabeth does the only thing she thinks she can that will solve all her problems. In the end, she learns she can't run from her secrets, not even the one she has been carrying for many years.
This film was done with an all volunteer cast and crew and minimal funds raised. A group of friends donated their time and talent to help complete this project which was basicaly me just wanting to fulfill a dream of making my own film and hoping my son saw me follow my dream and never give up.
